The Northwest team utilized the new Liebherr LTM1650-8.1 Mobile Hydraulic Crane to exchange a gearbox on an 80 meter Wind Turbine in Latham, KS. It took working day and night to complete the first project in North America with the LTM1650-8.1. The mobile hydraulic crane was configured with 92ft of luffing jib and 109,400 lbs. of counterweight to complete the lift. The new LTM1650-8.1 has an extensive list of modern features.
